Academic Excellence
curriculum
Riverside follows Kentucky state educational guidelines and uses both Christian-based and secular curriculum materials.
Teachers challenge students to become spiritually mature, to be responsible, and to work to become the best that they can be physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
With solid academic and Christian training and an emphasis on becoming active, responsible citizens, Riverside’s graduates continue to contribute to their communities. Many continue their education, either in a technical trade or to become professionals in fields of business, communication, computer science, human services, education, Christian ministry, and medicine. Some serve their country in the military.
Technology
Riverside continues to add technology-based learning to our classes. Recently a grant enabled us to provide most of our classrooms with smooth boards, a technology similar to the popular smart boards.
We have a computer and video production lab, as well as having several computers for student use in the library and most classrooms.
