Purpose: It is the hope of all teacher and parents that children learn the leadership skills to succeed in the world after high school. One of the ways that Riverside Christian School seeks to prepare its students for Christian life and leadership is thought participation in Student Council. Students who choose to participate in student council have the job of being the liaisons between the larger student body and the faculty and staff. The Council plans activities for the students, raise funds, facilitate mission projects, and attend weekly meetings where they learn leadership skills and communicate their concerns.
Time: Student Council meets every other Tuesday in the Library and is advised by 2 faculty.
