A message from our principal

Meg Asher

Everyone is aware that the end of the 2019-2020 school year was full of crazy changes! After closing school in March, our teachers faced the challenge of shifting their classes into online formats (with very little warning).  Because of all of the hard work from our IT team over the last few years, the process was much easier than it could have been!  Even with the huge learning curve, our teachers, students, and parents did an incredible job adapting to the new normal.

Going forward, we only have tentative plans about what RCS will look like in the fall.  We plan to comply with state guidelines and recommendations, but since we have a smaller student population than most schools, there may be more opportunities to keep a traditional schedule.

We also have a tentative Graduation Ceremony planned for the end of July.  There will be strict guidelines on who can attend the ceremony, but all of the Riverside community will be able to watch as we live-stream the event.

As we all adjust to the daily changes happening around us, continue praying for our students, their families, our community, and our world! We know that in Jesus Christ, all hope is found.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” [Galatians 6:9]
